I. PRINCIPLE OF CONFIDENTIALITY
Any data related to our patients is treated by our professionals with the utmost discretion, in the same way, the clinical histories of them are exhaustively protected attending at all times the legal guidelines in this regard.

II. SCIENTIFIC BASIS OF TREATMENT
Each case is assessed individually by the specialist who will treat the patient as well as the rest of the medical and optometric team. The appropriate medical tests are carried out for an accurate diagnosis and a personalized therapeutic indication. All this, as well as the patient’s own evolution, will be reflected in the medical history.

III. CLEAR AND COMPREHENSIVE INFORMATION
Our patients receive, both verbally and in writing, before the beginning of the treatment or surgical operation, extensive and real information of the process to which they are going to undergo, possible alternatives to it, results that can be expected – avoiding false expectations -, recovery time , possible personalized risks involved, etc. This information is collected promptly in an informed consent, which is read together with the Physician, who will clarify any questions that may arise and subsequently signed by the patient.

V. SECURITY GUARANTEES
All our centers meet the technical and legal requirements required by current legislation. All the surgical interventions are carried out by refractive ophthalmological surgeons in possession of the official title of specialist issued by the Spanish Ministry of Health. The operations are always carried out in operating rooms, clinics and accredited hospitals, perfectly equipped to carry out surgical interventions.

SAW. MEDICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL FOLLOW-UP
Eyecos patients are supervised at all times by qualified medical personnel as well as by our team of optometrists specializing in the area of ​​refractive surgery. Likewise, they have telephone lines of medical as well as optometric attention where to find answer to the possible doubts that may appear.

VII. UNDER AGE
Eyecos avoids performing surgery on children under 18 years of age. However, they have our medical advice, in terms of refractive ophthalmology, those young people who have refractive defects and want an optimal control.
